Andrea
I started scrapbooking about 13 years ago when the boy's basketball team at my high school made it to the State Basketball Tournament. After that I was invited to a home party and the obsession started there. I love being able to be creative and use fun products to keep my memories in one spot. I also have met some of the most wonderful people through this hobby!

I update the "Must Have!" blog each week and I am also on the Lasting Memories Design Team. I love thinking outside the box, so I'm the one to come to for fresh ideas if you're stuck.

I started to keep a journal in High School for a church project and it turned into a scrapbook.  When Mrs. Grossman started her sticker company in 1979 I became a Mrs. Grossman groupie because I LOVE her stickers and still hold a place in my heart for her and her stickers.  In 1994 I went to a class at church that was taught by a Creative Memories consultant about scrapbooking.  I was hooked and went to her car that night and bought products right out of her trunk! Haven't looked back since

What I enjoy most about scrapbooking is the creative process. Every page is different and there's no right or wrong way to do it.   Anything goes!  It keeps the creative juices flowing.

I work at Lasting Memories a couple of nights each week.   I am called the "Queen of Bling" around the store and love sparkles and shiny accessories. I delight in working with customers and helping them develop ideas for sharing photo memories of their lives.

I've been scrapbooking for about ten years, and working at Lasting Memories about eight of those years years. I'm the receiving clerk, hiding in the back room and distracting everyone who ventures back there, causing them to forget why they left the sales floor in the first place.

I love to make mini albums, and scraplift ideas from everyone else. Acrylic albums intrigue me presently. Off the scrapbooking channel, I have high hopes of publishing a book. I'm married to a postman who promotes the store to anyone who gets a package from another scrapbooking source. I also have four children, two cats, a dog, and two goldfish.

Johanna
I started scrapbooking when I was about 16. I became interested in the hobby and have been working at Lasting Memories during school breaks for about 4 years. My favorite part of scrapbooking is when I find a new idea or technique and happen to be working on an album for a family member or friend. That way I can use the new technique throughout their album! I love mini books.

I am learning more and more about the copy machine and becoming the new "copy girl". As part of this role I am also documenting how to use the copy machine and training other staff members. I also scan pages and make the mini class print-outs each week for the store. I love sharing techniques and my favorite products with customers to show how there are many different ways to scrapbook and use this craft.

I started scrapbooking 13 years ago and have been hooked ever since. My hobby grew into a creative outlet and passion. That is why I have been working at Lasting Memories for the past 5 years. Currently I am the night manager two nights a week.

I enjoy helping others explore their creative abilities whether it be scrapbooking, card making, invitations, stamping or school projects. I enjoy taking photos and reinventing those special memories through scrapbooking.

Laurie
I've been doing some form of scrapbooking most of my life - but I've been scrapbooking, as we know it today, since 1995. I enjoy having a fun, creative way to preserve all my memories in a format that others can enjoy as well. My current assignments at Lasting Memories include coordinating our Design Team, helping with merchandising (basically moving the store around on a weekly basis) and meeting & helping great people that share the same enthusiasm for this wonderful hobby!

I have a good product knowledge and am able to assist customers in finding what they need. I also know each of our 1,200+ cardstocks and papers by vendor and pattern or color.

Marilyn
I have loved art my whole life & started scrapbooking before it was even called scrapbooking. You could say ART has always been my favorite subject! From drawing, collage & photography, I love it all. My favorite subjects are my famiy & new grandchild as well as travel. Documenting life, memories & our heritage is such a meaningful hobby. I also really enjoy helping others with their projects.

I currently work 2-3 days a week at Lasting Memories and assist keeping track of our Wishbook and Special Orders. Once a week I work with Jennifer as her "purchasing/ordering buddie".

Nancy
I started scrapbooking in 1995 when my friend showed me her album and supplies. Soon we were meeting every week to scrap. I wanted to scrapbook because I wanted a family history that we could all be proud of. Once I started, I found that I enjoyed the creative process just as much as the thought of finishing a project. Scrabooking became my art.

I often tell Lasting Memories customers that scrapbooking is my art & my creativity, which leads to my good mental health. I love helping customers find the things they need. I find that I am able to break down the steps needed to make a complicated layout into something the customers can easily put together themselves. I especially love working with beginning scrapbookers because I can share my love of this hobby.

Pearl
An avid scrapbooker the past 10 years, Pearl has been with Lasting Memories since 1998. She designs the Tuesday Make n' Take and provides service to customers in the store. Her favorite products are textured cardstock, brads, pens, buttons, epoxy elements and vellum. Her scrapbooking style is clean and uncluttered with traditional design elements and she uses embellishments for accent and interest. She enjoys using up paper scraps to make mini albums and cards. Pearl is a proud first time grandmother!

Robyn
I began scrapbooking in High School, but didn't start "seriously" scrapbooking until my first son was born in July of 2000. That was all the motivation I needed to get hooked on this wonderful hobby!

I am one of the evening store managers, Class Coordinator and a member of the Lasting Memories Design Team. I love out customers, many of who I know by name, and I enjoy assisting them with their projects. I love receiving an invite to a special event of a customer whose invitation I helped create.

Tamara
I have been with Lasting Memories for about five years now and I teach the weekly mini classes. I am also the Lasting Memories Events Coordinator and I arrange the weekly store displays. I have been scrapbooking for about 15 years. I love working with ink and ribbon and am a self professed "paper junkie". Some of my favorite paper lines are Scenic Route, Making Memories & My Mind's Eye. One of my favorite projects to date was a little Valentine book that I made for my husband, Kurt.   Besides indulging in any project that has to do with paper, I love to cook!
(We all think Tamara should open a cookie store!)

Tina
I started out creating cards, rubberstamping, and invitations about 10 years ago. I only recently started scrapbooking right after my son was born about 2 years ago. I love that it's a great strss reliever. I also love to see people's faces when you have made something especially for them.

I love taking ideas from magazines and making my own - by supplying my own pictures. I also love to make invitations, so I am the perfect one to ask about incorporating die cuts and invitations!
